As part of an open plan layout the kitchen cabinetry takes on a furniture feel with a moulded skirting. And while aesthetics are important in a situation like this, the kitchen remains entirely practical with large worktop areas and a carefully planned layout. The benefit of a walk-in pantry allowed us to forgo the usual necessary wall cabinet storage, allowing the exposed brick wall to take centre stage. An Aga provides the main cooking facility with an additional gas hob on the island next to a handy prep sink allowing for complete cooking flexibility.
